It’s hard to come up with a more personal topic than healthcare. We’re living longer which means our chances of facing a serious disease are greater, and that gets us thinking about our doctors, the medicines we have to use (and pay for), and the lifestyle changes we have to make. With everything feeling so complicated, is it possible to have a simple conversation about what’s working, what’s not, and why? We think it is.
We’ve been working in diabetes for almost a century, bearing witness to some of the most important milestones in the history of this serious disease. We also know that there’s a lot more to discuss, debate, and question when it comes to healthcare. We know you have a lot of questions. We do too. And we know that the answers aren’t always clear. But one thing is: people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases shouldn’t be limited by their conditions.
So let’s talk about this… together. That’s why we’ve created this blog called Perspectives. In it, we’re going share our point of view and some of what we’re seeing in American healthcare. Be a part of this community, but also make sure you check out our Community Guidelines when it comes to posting.
Perspectives is for US audiences only. If you are outside of the US, learn more about Novo Nordisk at www.novonordisk.com.
