As a part of our Finance & Operations Organization, IT at Novo Nordisk is divided into three main groups: IT Operations is responsible for our network and our own hosted data center, file servers, Internet access, email, phones, security, and in-house and field help desks. Applications Development provides and maintains solutions for our Business Intelligence, Sales, Marketing, and Home Office functions. Our Business Relationship group ensures strategic alignment between IT and our many lines of business.

We look for professionals who bring skills and experience that come from a background in the pharmaceutical industry as well as those who bring best practices from other industries. Experience with validated systems and pharmaceutical processes like clinical trials and sales models may be essential for some areas within IT. Simultaneously, we are constantly seeking those with technical skills in web development, Siebel, and CRM with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, not to mention the ability to apply business intelligence skills to Commercial Effectiveness, Human Resources and many other Home Office departments.
