Compensation
All employees receive competitive base pay and participate in our annual or sales bonus programs.  Managers and above are eligible for long term incentives.

401(k) Savings Plan
Novo Nordisk automatically contributes 8% of your annual pay and bonus to the plan on your behalf. The company will add another 1% if you save at least 2% of your pre-tax pay. Company contributions are fully vested after three years.

Health and Dependent Care Accounts
You can use these accounts to pay for many of your out-of-pocket healthcare and/or dependent-care expenses on a pre-tax basis. Plus, the company will add up to $300 for expenses not covered by your medical plan, based on your family status.

Term Life Insurance
You automatically receive insurance equal to two times your annual base salary – at no cost to you – on your first day of work. You can purchase additional coverage at low group rates.

Dependent Life Insurance
You can choose $10,000, $25,000 or $50,000 coverage for your spouse and $4,000 for each child.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Company-paid coverage equals 1 times your annual base salary. Up to 5 times your annual base salary when traveling on business.

Long-Term Disability
Benefits provide 60% of your base salary after extended sick-time benefits end. Novo Nordisk pays the full cost for this basic coverage. You can purchase additional coverage that increases your long-term disability protection to 70% of base salary.

Retiree Health Plan
Even after you retire, you can participate in a comprehensive health plan, which includes medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage. All employees are entitled to this supplementary coverage for retirees as long as they have completed 10 years of full-time service and have reached the age of 55.

Group Auto/Homeowner's Insurance
You can insure your personal property (auto, boat, RV, home) while enjoying group rate and payroll discounts.

Credit Union
The credit union offers all the services of a bank, plus low-interest loans and credit cards. You receive free checking and free basic checks when you use the direct deposit feature.

Group Legal Plan
Whether you're buying a new home, drawing up a will or just need some legal advice, you'll have easy access to experienced, local network attorneys. Plus you receive a wide range of covered legal services for a minimal monthly cost, paid though a payroll deduction.

College Coach
College Coach offers an expertise in assisting employees and their families through important educational challenges including preparing, selecting, applying to and financing college. The College Coach benefit includes training workshops, personalized counselling, a Virtual Learning Center and an Education Help Desk.
