NNIDSI- Qualifying Businesses
The Novo Nordisk Diverse Supplier Initiative (NNISDI) is designed for Diverse Suppliers that are certified as:

Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE) defined as a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, that is physically located in the United States and is at least 51 percent owned by one or more U.S. citizens from the following minority groups:
- African American
- Asian-Pacific American
- Hispanic American
- Native American

Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE) defined as a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size that is at least 51 percent women owned by a U.S. Citizen.

Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) – A for-profit business that is at least 51 percent owned by one or more individuals that are both socially and economically disadvantaged. Companies that receive 8A certification automatically qualify as a SDB.

Veteran and Service Disabled Veteran owned Businesses – A for-profit business that is at least 51 percent owned and controlled by U.S. citizen(s) who is a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, and or, by one or more service disabled veterans.

HUB Zone – A for-profit business located in a historically underutilized business zone and for which at least 35% of its employees reside in a Hub Zone area.

Businesses owned by Individuals with Disabilities – Businesses that are at least 51 percent owned by one or more individuals with physical disabilities.
