Every November, Diabetes Awareness Month helps to bring awareness to the diabetes epidemic in the United States. On November 14th, we recognize World Diabetes Day and work to amplify this message through #LaceUp4Diabetes. #LaceUp4Diabetes is a social media movement that encourages people to “lace up” and take steps to reduce their risk of diabetes and share those steps with friends and family.
As a leader in diabetes care, Novo Nordisk is committed to improving the lives of those affected by the disease. We believe that every day provides us with a chance to inspire change, educate, and raise awareness about diabetes. Throughout the month of November, we are encouraging Americans to take steps toward a healthy lifestyle, educate themselves about the risk factors for diabetes, and urge others to take action to continue the movement to change diabetes.
