NNPI Follow-On Brands

  • What: Also known as unbranded biologics, follow-on brand versions of NovoLog®. and Novolog®. Mix 70/30, from Novo Nordisk Pharma, Inc., a U.S. affiliate of Novo Nordisk NS, are priced at a 50% discount compared to current list price of branded versions
  • For Who: Anyone with a valid prescription. This may be a helpful option depending on a person, benefit design and formulary coverage, especially for those in high-deductible health plans or exposed to list price through coinsurance. This also may count towards a person, deductible
  • How: You can order these medicines from any pharmacy in the U.S. and it will be available in 1-3 business days. Patients should check to see if their insurance plan covers this option

A Patient Assistance Program (PAP)

  • What: Provides free medicines, including all Novo Nordisk Inc. insulins
  • For Who: Patients who are U.S. citizens or legal residents who meet certain eligibility requirements including that the total household income is at or below 400% of the federal poverty level, not having any private prescription coverage such as HMO or PPO, and not having or qualifying for other government programs.
