Welcome to Novo Nordisk in the United States

Portraits of diabetes in the developing world

By Novo Nordisk US |  Published October 23, 2018

We love to share stories from our communities across the U.S., but we’re also proud of the work Novo Nordisk does around the world. That includes establishing the World Diabetes Fund (WDF), which since 2002 has provided $138 million in funding to 535 diabetes prevention and treatment projects in more than 100 countries.

Photographer Jesper Westley tells the story behind some of the photos he’s taken over 16 years of documenting WDF projects and capturing images of some of the millions of people who the WDF has helped.
