Educating policymakers about diabetes and other chronic conditions is a critical role of our Government Affairs and Public Policy teams. We provide education in the form of materials and tools to key stakeholders in Washington, DC and throughout the country, including Members of Congress and their staff, federal agency officials, state and local policymakers, and critical stakeholders to raise diabetes and chronic disease higher on the national agenda, increase awareness about diabetes and chronic diseases, and create action on policy.
