Voted among the “Best Workplaces in Washington”, we’ve created a culture of fun and ingenuity, where everyone is diligently searching for the next “big thing.” Right now, that means identifying protein-based therapies for prevention of diabetes, treatments for diabetes and obesity, and innovating for new digital health technology solutions. It’s a groundbreaking medical frontier – and a great move for your career. Here, you’ll find all levels of Research Associate, Research Scientist and device technology positions available within our multi-functional research groups.
On the technical level, we’re constantly seeking candidates with degrees in the biological sciences that preferably will include research or related experience in the field (e.g., research in the area of biopharmaceutical discovery and knowledge of the assigned therapeutic area). We're searching for candidates with knowledge or expertise in protein engineering, chemistry and formulation to deliver long acting, patient friendly drug therapeutics. Additionally, we are also looking for engineers, scientists and technology experts with a background in medical devices, digital health or communication technology.
For our Research Associate roles, the ability to perform a wide variety of technical procedures and operate varied lab instrumentation is necessary. The ability to implement methods using journal articles and/or other scientists as resources is also critical.
Our Research Scientists possess the ability to provide expertise and lead development of research-based competencies in support of multiple biopharmaceutical discovery projects aimed at the identification and early development of novel therapeutics.
For our medical device team working at the front end of innovation, we are looking for entrepreneurial personalities with a passion for technology and a desire to find solutions to help patients live better lives. Our task is to transform insights of user needs and technology ideas into concepts and value adding solutions.
