Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) drive our efforts to foster a sense of belonging and build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. These groups enhance the work experience and professional development for many Novo Nordisk employees, and ultimately help us retain and recruit a more diverse workforce to better serve patients and our communities.

ERGs empower our employees to take an active role on issues they care about and to develop their careers. Activities include seminars on unconscious bias, community events and fundraisers to raise awareness and support for those battling chronic health conditions such as diabetes and obesity, campaigns to celebrate the array of cultures our employees represent and education on health/wellness, among others. Novo Nordisk leaders serve as executive sponsors of ERGs and encourage broad involvement.
